Building Process

To give you some knowledge of our construction schedule we have created this page to show you the various stages that your new home will go through before it reaches completion.

Foundations

1. Our earthmover will level your site and supply the under slab fill and base.
2. Our foundation contractor will trench your footing in preparation for the pouring of the foundations.
3. Our plumber will place all your underfloor plumbing prior to the pouring of concrete.
4. Our electrician will place any under floor heating and conduit in prior to the pour.
5. Our engineer will inspect the phases of the foundation construction and issue a certification upon its completion.

Wall Construction

1. SJM carpenters will undertake the construction of the wall and roof frame, complete with the fixing of all the windows.
2. Our Electrician and Plumber will install the various services that you have chosen into the framing.
3. Our bricklayer or walling supplier will now complete your external wall construction.
4. Our wall lining contractor will now fix your wall and ceiling linings.

Internal fit out

1. Our second fix carpenter will now fix your skirtings, architraves and hang the doors that you have chosen.
2. Our tiler will now commence the laying of your ceramic tiles to all wet areas.
3. Our cabinet maker or joiner will now complete the fixing of all sanitary ware and taps.
4. Our bathroom fitting supplier will now fit your towel rails, paper holders and shower screens.
5. Any Air conditioning and robes that you have chosen will now be fitted.

Handover / Completion

Your supervisor will now arrange the final cleaning of your site, your new home and the final connection of all services, we are proud be be your Clare Valley Home Builder
